I've brought my daughter's quilt upstairs to show you. I'm officially half finished the quilting on this baby and it's taking for..ev...er! But I'm happy with how it's coming along. I've also been using the leaders and enders technique, so I'm getting other units together while I'm quilting.
I've started cutting for my friend's whirly giggly quilt. She has such a bright, bubbly personality that I thought these fabrics would match with it. Her birthday is in March, so I'm hoping to have this one finished before then. I'm making it 4x6 blocks, making it about 45x65 inches. Do you think this is a good lap quilt size? I've only made bed quilts and crib quilts so I'm not sure of the size.
**I've just spread the bed quilt out and 4x6 will not be big enough. So I'm going with 6x6. Back to the cutting board!
Happy Family Day!

These are really fabulous colours! Perfect for a bright and bubbly person. 6x6 should be a great lap quilt size!
Cheers!
Your "half done" and "about to begin" Whirly Giggles are both GREAT! I just love the happy colors. Enjoy the process, they're sure to be loved to pieces.
